Project ii(festival celebration.)

   Project ii(festival celebration.) 

Locality:No 2 Balijan gaon,Marangi,Golaghat.
   
              The 'Basanta Utsab' ceremony was celebrated in our locality on 5 th & 6 th May 2018)(21 & 22 Bohag,Saturday and Sunday).On 1st  day the ceremony was inaugurated by the ' Huchori'' of 'Semoniya Huchori Dol' of  Amarjyoti Club,Fallangani.After the flag hosting at 9 am a large number of audience gathered there.All are in a festive mood on that day.The cultural functions were begun from 10 am.Bihugeet ,Bongeet,Jhumur,Sristihil nritya competitions were held on that day.A huge number of competitors performed in the competitions.That was indeed a very good function. Everybody enjoyed it very much.From evening 'Horu Bihuwoti' and 'Bor Bihuwoti' competitions were begun.The function was continued till 11.30 pm.Several competitors of 'Bor Bihuwoti' and 'Horu Bihuwoti' came from different places like Sibasagor,Jorhat,Golaghat Dergaon and Guwahati etc.They performed very nicely.
      On next day also gathered a large number of audience. 'huchori',and 'jheng bihu'competions were held thatday.At 3 pm the 'Mukoli Meeting' was begun.
In the evening the 'Cultural Night' function was begun from 9.30 pm.The bihu committee invited the famous  singer named Bipin Chaudang to perform the Cultural Night.Thousands of audience gatered there to enjoy the programme.They  sang and danced happily.the function was over so peacefully that all admired the bihu committee for organise the function so nicely.

Class ix/Moments/NCERT sollution (A House is not a home)

Ans:-One Sunday afternoon,the author was doing homework in the dining room table.His mother was stoking the fire to keep the house nice and warm.Suddenly he smelled something strange and then he noticed that smoke pouring in through the seams of the ceiling.The smoke began to fill the room so quickly that they could barely see.They all ran out into the front yard.Then they saw that the whole roof was engulfed in flames and it was spreading quickly.
            His mother's reaction was that she couludn't think what to do in such a situation and  suddenly ran into the house and ran out of the house carrying a small metal box full of important documents.She dropped the case on the lawn and in a crazed state,she again ran back into the house to rescue her husband's pictures and letters.These were the only things that she had to remember her husband after his death.The author wanted to follow his mother into the house but a fireman prevented him and after sometime his mother was brought out from the house by a fireman.

Ans:-The house of the author was totally destroyed by the fire.After five hours later though the fire was finally out,the house was almost completely burned down.Then the author suddenly thought about his lovely cat.He realised that she was nowhere to be found.He hadnot seen her anywhere.Then all the happenings at once began to hit him-the new school,the fire,the cat etc.So he broke down in tears and cried and cried.He was suffering loss,big time.

Ans:-The author is deeply embarrased the next day in school.Because he had no school dress,bag and shoes.The cloth he was wearing looked weired.When the fire broke out he was still wearing the dress which he had worn to church that norning.He had no books and homeworks and his backpack was gone.He kept all his important things in his backpack.He didnot want to go to school but his mother wouldn'd hear of it.He borrowed some tennis shoes from his aunt and went to school as like a zombie as he was totally embarrased by everything.
                The following lines shows his fear and insecurity-
"Was I destined to be an outcast and a geek all my life?Thats's what he felt like.I didnot want to grow up,change or have to handle life if it was going to be this way.I just wanted to curl up and die."

Ans:-The cat and the author are very fond of each other.The cat was never far from the author.He had rescued her when she was a kitten,and somehow she knew that he was the one responsible for giving her 'the good life'.The cat was lying on the top of the papers of the author when the fire broke out.The author loved the cat very much.So he cried after the fire having not found the cat anywhere.The author thought only about the cat.He wanted to see the cat if she was alive or dead.He went to see the cat if he would find it in the debris of his burned house.The cat also loved the author very much.When the author get out of his bed,the cat climbed up his robe and crowled into his pocket and fell asleep.
           When the fire broke out,the cat had been so frigtened that it went away about a mile.It was found by a woman.
                 The woman who found the cat brought it back to the author.She worked hard to find out whose cat it was.She realised  that It was a pet and loved by someone and sorely missed.She brought it in her lap and gave back to the author.

5.What actions of the schoolmates changed the author's understanding of life and people and comfort him emotionally? Ans:-The author broke down having lost everything in fire.All his hopes were vanished and he thought to finish his life.The next day he went to school like a zombie.But his friends and classmates made him surprised and miling around him.They forced him to the gym.They had taken up a collection and brought school supplies,notebooks,all kind  of different clothes-jeans,tops,sweatsuits etc for him and kept them on a table.It was like christmas.He was overcome by emotion.People who had never spoken to him before were coming up to him to introduce themselves.The author got all kinds of invitations to their houses.
        Such kind of behaviour really touched him.These actions of his clasmates changed his understanding of life and people and he felt comfort emotionally.He breathed a sigh of relief.
                 The Classmates and friends of the author expressed their love to him and offered all kind of help to him.He made many friends that day.Thus his loneliness vanished and he started participating in life.

Class ix (Moments) Weathering the Srorm in Ersama,NCTE sollution

1.What havoc has the super cyclone wreaked in the life of the people of Orissa?(উৰিশ্যা ৰ জনজীৱনৰ ওপৰত ঘূৰ্ণীবতাহে কি ধৰণৰ ধ্বংসলীলা ৰ সৃষ্টি কৰিছিল? 
Ans:- The super cyclone has wreaked a great havoc in the life of the people of Orissa.The super cyclone hit Orissa on 27 th October 1999.In the evening a dark and menacing storm began to blow.Winds beat against the houses with a speed and fury.Heavy and incessant rain filled the darkness.Ancient trees were uprooted and crashed to the earth.Screams rent the air as people and houses were swiftly washed away.Trees were uprooted and fallen on the houses and damaged the roofs and walls.people have to take shelter on the roof of the buildings and have to servive several days eating green coconuts.Carcasses of animals and human corpses floated everywhere.There could barely see a house standing.Homeless people took shelter in relief camps.we can guess how dangerous was the super cyclone and how people have to lose everything including their belongings from the example of the Prashant's village.There were 2500 strong crowd of  Prashant's village in the Red Cross Shelter.Eighty 
six lives were lost in the village.All the ninety- six houses had been washed away.
            In this way the super cyclone had made a severe destruction in the life of the people of Orissa.

               The devastating super cyclone wreaked in the life of people of orissa severely.It destroyed many villages,uprooted trees,destroying buildings,and killing people and animals.Heavy rainfall caused flood and flood water entered the houses.Strong wind was blown whole the night.Dead animals and people were seen floating on water.Children lost their parents,women became widows and parents lost their children.

2.How has Prashant,a teenager,been able to help the people of his village?(প্ৰশান্ত,এজন কিশোৰে,কেনেকৈ গাৱৰ লোকসকলক সহায় কৰিবলৈ সক্ষম হৈছিল? 
Ans:-Prashant wanted to help the people of his village.He decided to step in as the leader of his village.He organised a group of youths and elders.They pressurised the merchant to part with his rice.This time they became succeeded and returned joyfully.They could be able to collect food for entire shelter for the first time.No one cared that the rice was already rotting.Prashant organised a team of youth volunteers to clean the shelter of filth,urine,vomit and floating carcasses.They would help the people who had been injured,having fractures and wounds.By making the children lie on the sand putting empty utensils in the stomach prashant made the military helicoprers to regular drop food and other essential materials for the people.Prashant mobilised the women to look after the orphaned children.He persuaded the women to start working in food for work programme started by an NGO.He organised cricket matches for the children.Prashant engaged with other volunteers,in helping the widows and children to pick up the broken pieces of their lives.

                  Prasant was in his friend' s house when the super cyclone was occured.After two days later he arrived at his vilage.He took the lead to help the victims of the cyclone.He organised the youths and the elders and brought rice from the merchant.He also gathered the orphaned children and made them stay in a shelter made of polythene and engaged women to look after them.He arranged cricket match for the children.He engaged volunteers to clean the camp.Thus Prasant  has been able to help the people of his village.

Ans:-The people of the community of Prashant's village helped one another.When Prashant organised the group of youths and elders they came out in a body to help each other they collected rice from the merchant and The youth volunteers helped the suffering people who had been injured,wounded and frectured.They cleaned the vomits,urine and floating carcassess.
             The women of Kalikuda also played important role during these days.They were mobilesed to look after the orphaned children while the men secured food and materials for the shelter.Prashant persuaded the women to start working in the food- for- work programme started by an NGO so that they wouldn't sink deeper in their grief.

                  The people of the community have helped one another by working together.Everyone has co-operated to get rid of their difficulties.They built a shelter for the orphans while men worked for collecting food and other things.Women looked after the orphans.They also joined the 'food for work' programme.

Ans:-The initial government  planned to set up institutions for orphans and widows.But Prashant and other volunteers resisted it. Because they thought that in such institutions,children would grow up without love and widows would suffer from stigma and loneliness.
    Prashant's group believed that orphans should be resettled in  their own community itself,possibly in new foster families made up of childless widows and children without adult care.

MOMENT ( The Happy Prince )

3.For whom does the prince send the sapphires and why?( ৰাজকুমাৰজনে চেফায়াৰ কেইটা কাৰ বাবে পঠাইছিল? আৰু কিয়?

Ans:-The Prince sends the sapphires to the playwright and the matchgirl.The young playwright is seen in a garret far away across the city.He is trying to finish a play for the Director of the Theatre,but he feels too cold to write any more.There is no fire in the grate and hunger has made him faint.So the Happy Prince sends a sapphire to him.
           The prince sends the another sapphire to the matchgirl.Her matches are fallen in the gutter and they are all spoiled.She has no shoes or shockings and her little head is bare.Her father will beat her if she doesnot bring some money to home.So she is crying.

4.What does the Swallow see when it flies over the city?(কণমানি চৰাইটিয়ে কি কি দেখিলে যেতিয়া ই চহৰখনৰ ওপৰে উৰি গৈছিল?

Ans:-The Happy Prince has given away the sappheres from his eyes.So he become blind now.He tells the swallow to fly over the city and tell him what is happening in the city.So the swallow flew over the great city and saw rich were making merry in  their beautiful houses  while the beggars were sitting at the gates.He flew into dark lanes and saw the white faces of starving children who were looking out listlessly at the black street.Under the archway of a bridge two boys were lying in each other's arms to keep themselves warm.The little swallow saw that they were driven away into the rain by the watchman.

5.Why did the swallow not leave the prince and go to Egypt? (কণমানি চৰাইটিয়ে কিয় ৰাজকুমাৰ জনক এৰি দিয়া নাছিল আৰু ইজিপ্ত লৈ নোযোৱাৰ সিদ্ধান্ত  লৈছিল?

Ans:-The swallow did not leave the prince and go to Egypt because the Prince is now quite blind  and he had given away all his leaves of gold,sapphires and the ruby to the poor and helpless people and he became dull and grey.The little swallow did not want to leave him in this situation.The little swallow wondered having seen the sacrifices of the statue.Then the snow came and after the snow frost also came.The poor little swallow grew colder and colder.He would not leave the prince as he loved him so much.The swallow died at last.He hardly kissed the lips of the statue and died at his feet as he felt too cold.The statue had also broken at that time and his leaden heart was snapped right in two.

Ans:-The precious things mentioned in the story are the leaden heart of the Happy Prince and the dead body of the little Swallow.
                They are precious because when the statue of the Happy Prince  was set up on the tall column high above the city,it was covered with leaves of fine gold and precious metals.The statue helped the poor,needy and helpless people by giving away these precious metals by the help of the little swallow. Even the prince wept seeing the misery of the poor.The swallow also carried out the commands of the Statue of the prince while his friends had gone to Egypt.These precious things had been brought by the Angel of God to the heaven.

MOMENT(The Happy Prince)

1.Give a brief account of the Happy Prince?(সুখী ৰাজকুমাৰ জনৰ বিষয়ে এটি চমু বিৱৰণ দিয়া।)

Ans:-The happy prince's statue was established on a tall column,high above the city.The statue was covered with thin leaves of fine gold.There were two bright sapphires in his eyes and a large red ruby glowed on his sword hilt.

2.Why do the courtiers call the prince 'Happy Prince'? Is he really happy?What does he see all around him?(সভাসদ সকলে ৰাজকুমাৰজনক কিয় সুখী ৰাজকুমাৰ বুলি কৈছিল? সি প্ৰকৃততে সুখী নে?তেওঁ তেওঁৰ চাৰিওফালে কি দেখা পাইছে?

Ans:-The courtiers Call the prince 'Happy Prince' because he was really very happy when he was alive and a human heart.He lived in the palace.He didnot know what tears were as there sorrow is not allowed to enter in the palace.
               He is not happy now because after his death his statue was set up on a column high above the city.Now he is sad having seen the misery and suffering of the people though his heart is made of lead.
                All around him,he could see the ugliness and misery of the city..He saw in the city only the suffering and misery of the people.He saw the suffering of the seamstress,the young playwright and the little matchgirl.The little swallow also flew over the city and told him the misery of people.He told the statue how the rich making merry in their beautiful houses while the beggars were sitting at the gates.

Ans:-The Happy Prince  sends a rubi for the seamstress because her little boy is lying ill in a bed in the corner of the room.He has a fever and is asking his mother to give him oranges.His mother has nothing to give him but only river water.So he is crying.The face of the woman is thin and worn.Her hands are coarse and red,all pricked by the needle.She is embroidering flowers on a satin gown for the loveliest of the queen's maids of honour,to wear at the next court ball.
                 The swallow came to the seamstress' house and looked in.The boy was tossing feverishly on his bed and his mother had fallen asleep as she was tired.The swallow laid the great ruby on the table beside the woman's thimble.Then he flew gently round the bed,fanning the boy's forehead with his wings.

MOMENT(The Adventre of Toto)

1.what mischiefs did Toto Make in the author's bedroom?(লেখক ৰ শোৱাকোথাত তোতো য়ে কেনে ধৰণৰ ক্ষতি সধন কৰিছিল?)

Ans:-Toto was a very mischivous monkey.He was tied to a peg fastened into the wall in the author's bedroom.A few hours later when Grandfather and the author came back into the room,they found that the wall,which had been covered with some ornamental paper,now stood out as naked brick and pluster.The peg in the wall had been wrenched from its socket.The school blazer of the author which had been hanging there was in shreds.

2.What were the pets possessed by the author's Grandfather?Where did they live?(লেখক ৰ ককাকৰ পোহনীয়া প্ৰাণীকেইটা কি কি?সিহঁ‌ত ক'ত বসবাস কৰিছিল?)

Ans:-The pets possessed by the author's Grandfather were a tortoise,a pair of rabbits,a tame squirrell and 
goats.Toto,a monkey is also kept there by Grandfather,which was bought from the tonga driver.

        They lived in Grandfather's private zoo in the servant's quarters.


3.what did Toto do after climbing into the jackfruit tree?(কঠাল গছৰ ওপৰ লৈ উঠি যোৱাৰ পাছত টোতো য়ে কি কৰিছিল?)

Ans:- One day,at lunch-time,a large disc of pullao stood in the centre of the dining-table.Toto picked up the disc of pulao and made exit through a window.Then he climed into a jackfruit tree with the disc of pullao.He remained there all afternoon,eating slowly the rice.When he finished eating the pullao, in order to spite Grandmother,who has screamed at him,he threw the disc down from the tree and chattered with delight when it broke into a hundred pieces.

                 The Adventure of Toto

1.How does Toto come to Grandfather's private zoo?(তোতো কেনেকৈ গ্ৰান্দফাদাৰ ৰ ব্যক্তিগত চিৰিয়াখানা লৈ আহিল?)

Ans:-Toto was a pretty monkey.Grandfather bought Toto from a Tonga-driver for the sum of five rupees.Grandfather decided to keep Toto in his private zoo.In this way Toto comes to Grandfather's private zoo.

2."Toto was a pretty monkey ".In what sense is Toto pretty?(তোতো আছিল এটা মৰমীয়াল বান্দৰ।কি কাৰণত ইয়াক মৰমীয়াল বুলি কোৱা হৈছে?)


Ans:-Toto was a pretty monkey as he was very naughty which grandfather liked most.His eyes were bright and sparkling.His teeth were pearly white.His hands looked dried up but his fingers were quick moving and wicked.He used his tail as his third hand and used to hang from a branch .He could scoop up any delicacy with his tail when he found it out of reach of his hands.In these sense Toto was considered as a pretty monkey.

3.Why does Grandfather take Toto to Saharanpoor ane how?Why does the ticket collector insist on calling Toto a dog?(ককাদেউতা ই কিয় তোতো ক চাহাৰানপুৰ লৈ গৈছিল আৰু কিয়?টিকত কালেক্টৰ জনে কিয় তোতো ক কুকুৰ বুলি গণ্য কৰিছিল?)

Ans-Grandfather wanted to go to Saharanpur to collect his pension.To keep sectet the presence of Toto at his home from Grandmother he decided to take Toto with him.Grandmother didnot like to bring any new animal and bird to her home.
            So Grandfather provided a big canvas kit bag for Toto and some straw was laid at the bottom of the bag.Then Toto was put into it.The bag was closed and there was no escape for Toto. The canvas was too strong to bite his way through.
             The ticket collector told that Grandfather had carried a dog with him and demanded the fare for it.Grandfather said that That was a monkey,not a dog.But Toto was classified as a dog by the ticket Collector and he had to pay a sum of three rupees to him.

4.How does Toto take a bath?Where has he learnt to do this?How  does Toto almost boil himself alive?(তোতো য়ে কেনেকৈ গা ধুইছিল? সি এনেদৰে গা ধুবলৈ ক'ত শিকিলে?তোতো য়ে কেনেকৈ নিজকে জীয়াই জীয়াই প্ৰায় সিজাই পেলাইছিল?

Ans:-Grandmother provided a large bowel of warm water for Toto during the cold Winter evenings for his bath.He would cunningly test the temperature with his hand,then gradually step into the bath,first one foot,then the other until he was into the water up to his neck.Once comfortable,he would take the soap in his hand or feet and rub himself all over.When the water became cold,he would get out and run as quickly  as he could to the kitchen fire in order to dry himself.
              Toto has learnt to bath observing the narrator when he took his bath.
               One day Toto entered the kitchen and removed the lid of the kettle.He tested the temperature of the water if it was warm enough for bath.He got in the kettle,with head sticking out from the open kettle.This was just fine for a while,until the water began to boil.Then Toto felt Cold at the top of the kettle and warm at the bottom.He continued hopping up and down for sometime,until Grandmother arrived.He became half boiled and Grandmother then save him.Thus Toto almost boiled himself alive once.

Introduction:-Travelling is a part of education.It is the best way to learn things and acquire knowledge.Travelling means visit from one place to  another place or one country to another.we can increase our knowledge from it.Travelling provides an experience of the world and it is the best way to acquire the practical knowledge of life.we can achieve the text book knowledge in the classroom but real education happens outside the claassroom and travelling is one of the way for it.we can say that it is the practical use of various qualities of mind and intellectual development of people.

Travelling as a part of education:-Travelling is an important way to gain knowledge,ideas,thoughts and experiences.Education is not complete without travelling because we can gather more and more knowledges from it.people can discover their thoughts widely through travelling.

Benefits of travelling:-Travelling benafits everyone.We can achieve many more things from it.we can learn different languages from it.we can increase our listening and speaking capacity from travelling.Students learn different languages ie English,Hindi etc at school.But they don't find proper environment to develop the speaking skill of those languages.One can develop his speaking skill as well as the skill of presentation through it.Travelling teach students to be independant emotionally and intellectually.We can learn the surviveness of other lives.When we travel we have a better understanding of people of different places.people can learn themselves through it.They can be able to know their potential having seen the other people,their works,actions and knowledges.So now a days educational institutions often arranges excursion for students.They were taken to the places of historical importance,world heritage sites,hilly regions,river project etc..From it they can acquire the vast knowledges of different areas.

Conclusion:-Travelling is most essential for students.It helps the students to learn about the wonderful world and its natural beauty..It help the students to know different places,it's people,their lifestyle etc.Travelling increases knowledge of students.Education is incomplete without travelling.Book knowledge is considered half knowledge without practical knowledge.So travelling is the best way to achieve the practical knowledge.We should encourage students for travelling.They should be allowed to travell various places at least once in a year.Travelling removes the narrowness and darkness of mind.We can acquire mental satisfaction from travelling.So travelling is called an essencial part of education.

                       My Aim in Life


           Every man must have some aim in life.An aimless life is like a boat without a rudder.We can do nothing in life without an aim.Different people have different aims in their life according to their interest.

           It is rather difficult to choose a right aim in life.We have to think well before choosing an aim.Yet I have chosen an aim and want to fulfill it.My aim in life is that I want to be a teacher

            It is my ambition from my childhood to become a teacher.I love teaching profession very much.I want to serve my society.I want to literate the society.Education is necessary to all.To progress a society every man have to be educated.I'll try to do best to make my students good citizens.

             I'll do work hard for my goal.To achieve the goal I'll do what I have to do.I hope that I shall be able to become successful.

Simple,Compound and Complex Sentence.

Sentence(বাক্য )
বাক্য হৈছে কোনো শব্দ বা শব্দৰ সমষ্টি,যাৰ জৰিয়তে মনৰ ভাৱ প্ৰকাশ কৰা হয়।মনৰ ভাব প্ৰকাশ কৰিবলৈ বাক্য ব্যৱহাৰ কৰা হয়।
(The sentence is generally defined as a word or a group of words that expresses a thorough idea by giving a statement/order, or asking a question, or exclaiming.
Example:
Se is a good girl (statement), Is she a good girl? (question), What a beautiful picture it is! (exclaiming).
বাক্যৰ প্ৰকাৰ (Types of Sentences)
গঠন ৰ ওপৰত ভিত্তি কৰি sentences ক 3 প্ৰকাৰত ভাগ কৰা হয়।
1)Simple sentence (সৰল বাক্য)
Compound sentence (যৌগিক বাক্য)
Complex sentence (জটিল বা মিশ্ৰ বাক্য) and
Simple sentence
যি বাক্যত এটাই মাত্ৰ finite verb থাকে,তাকে simple sentenc বোলে।
(A simple sentence must have a single clause (a single verb) which is independent, and it cannot take another clause.Asimple sentence must have a subject and a verb which must express a complete thought.
Example:
1) I always go to school.,,
2) I went to town yesterday.
(one independant clause one verb)
Compound sentence
যিবিলাক বাক্য দুটা বা ততোধিক clause ৰে গঠিত হয় আৰু দুই বা ততোধিক finite verb থাকে,তেনে বাক্য হৈছে compound sentence.
A compound sentence must have more than one independent clause .A
compound sentence is a sentence that has at least two independent clauses.There is no any dependant clause.
( An clause is a part of sentence that has a subject and a verb.)
Example:
1) Mina was tired so she felt sleepy.
2)He studied hard yet he didnot success.
(Two independent clauses – two verbs)
Complex sentence
complex sentence ত দুটা clause থাকে,এটা principal clause(মূখ্য খণ্ডবাক্য),আৰু আনটো Subordinate Clause (গৌণ খণ্ডবাক্য)।principal clause টো স্বাধীন,subordinate clause টো পৰাধীন বাক্য।Subordinate clause টো য়ে Principal clause টো ৰ ওপৰত নিৰ্ভৰ কৰে।
(A complex sentence has more than one clause but of one them must be an independent clause and the other/others must be (a) dependent clause(es).
Example:
1)Entering the room I saw a big snake.
entering the room=subordinate clause,
I saw a big snake=principal clause.
